Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups of bread flour
  • 1 tablespoon of instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup diced fresh jalapenos
  • 1 ½ cups vegan cheese cashew-based or store-bought
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast optional

Instructions
 

  • Mix the flour, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
  • Add warm water and olive oil; stir until combined.
  • Fold in diced jalapenos and shredded vegan cheese.
  • Let the dough rest for 8-12 hours at room temperature for fermentation.
  • Preheat the oven with a baking stone or Dutch oven.
  • Shape the dough into a ball and let it rise for another hour.
  • Brush the top with olive oil before baking.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and crusty.

Notes

For a softer loaf, use all-purpose flour. Customize the spice level by adjusting the amount of jalapenos. Allow the dough to ferment for the best flavor and texture.
