  • Optional garnish: Whipped cream or coconut whipped cream; extra pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon dusting

Instructions

  • 1.Heat the pumpkin mixture
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, pumpkin puree, sweetener, and pumpkin pie spice. Warm until hot but not boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar.

  • Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract. Pour in espresso or strong brewed coffee and stir until fully blended.
  • 3.Froth or steam the milk
  • Froth the spiced milk using a milk frother, French press, or whisk until creamy microfoam forms.
  • 4.Assemble & serve
  • Divide the latte between two mugs. Spoon or pour foam on top. Garnish with whipped cream and a dusting of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon if desired.

Notes

  • Dairy-free/Vegan swap: Use almond, oat, or coconut milk and coconut whipped cream
  • Stronger pumpkin flavor: Reduce ¼ cup puree over low heat until thickened or substitute pumpkin butter
  • Homemade spice blend: If you lack pumpkin pie spice, use ½ tsp cinnamon + ⅛ tsp each nutmeg, ginger, and cloves
  • Iced variation: Chill coffee, mix with cold spiced milk over ice, and skip steaming
  • Adjust sweetness: Start with 1 Tbsp sweetener, then increase as desired
