Ingredients for Strawberry Jello Pie
- â…” cup boiling water
- 3 oz Jello Strawberry Flavor (1 package)
- 1 cup ice cold water
- 16 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
- 1 ready-to-use graham cracker crumb crust (9-inch)
- Optional: whipped cream & maraschino cherries for topping
How I Make Strawberry Jello Pie
I start by pouring my boiling water into a mixing bowl with the strawberry Jello, stirring for 2 minutes until completely dissolved. I add the ice cold water, stir again, and let the mixture sit for a few minutes until it starts to thicken slightly.
Next, I gently fold in the entire tub of Cool Whip, mixing until the filling is light pink and fully blended. If I want a swirl effect, I leave a few streaks of white!
I spoon the fluffy filling into a graham cracker crust, smoothing the top with a spatula. The pie chills for at least 4 hours (but overnight is best for a firm, sliceable finish).
Just before serving, I garnish with piped whipped cream and maraschino cherries for a festive, classic look.
